Jorge Flores

Jorge is excited for his first design at Stage West, having previously served as sound/light board operator for Bootycandy. A recent graduate of Texas Wesleyan University (BA Theatre Arts), his favorite technical credits include sound design for Important Hats (co-designer), Spring Awakening, Blithe Spirit, The Survivor, Rent (also engineer),  The 39 Steps,  Clue: The Musical (also engineer), and Urinetown: The Musical (also engineer and co-technical director),  and Oklahoma! (technical director).  Other regional technical credits include sound design for  Lost in Yonkers, All My Sons, and Wonder of the World at TCC Southeast, and sound design/engineer for Into the Woods at Rockwall Summer Musicals.  Jorge is a member of United States Institute for Theatre Technology and Theatrical Sound Designers and Composers Association.  He is a two-time Regional Sound Design Award recipient from KCACTF, and participated in the LDI 2016 Internship Program in Las Vegas and USITT Elite Training with Cirque du Soleil. Jorge also works at Stage Works as a drafter /designer.
