Tristan Decker

Tristan is in his 7th year as the Technical Director and Associate Professor of Professional Practice for TCU’s Department of Theatre. His credits include Dallas Theater Center (A Macbeth), Undermain Theatre (Uncle BobSaint NicholasHomework), Second Thought (Hunter Gatherers), Our Endeavors Theater Co. (The Last One-Nighter on the Death TrailDainty Shapes and Hairy Apes), Trinity Shakespeare Festival (Twelfth NightMuch Ado About NothingAs You Like ItThe Merry Wives of Windsor), Echo Theater Company (End Days), Contemporary Theater of Dallas (The Cemetery Club),  Theatre 3 (The MinotaurThe Imaginary Invalid, Metamorphoses), Shakespeare Dallas (Romeo and JulietTwelfth NightLove’s Labour’s Lost), and Oklahoma City Rep (HeisenbergAugust: Osage CountyMy Fair Lady). He was also hired by Disney to design one of the first high school productions of High School Musical: The Musical.  An original company member and Artistic Associate of the Trinity Shakespeare Festival serving as a set designer, lighting designer, technical director, and scenic studio supervisor, Tristan is a winner of multiple DFW Theater Critic Forum Awards and has been nominated for several Leon Rabin and Column Awards.
