Waitstaff (part-time)

This position offers an excellent, flexible way to make some good cash while working for a fun, local theatre company.
A good candidate will:

• Have prior restaurant experience and/or be a quick learner. 
• Be good at multi-tasking. 
• Have a well-kept and groomed appearance. 
• Enjoy good food and theatre. 
• Exhibit a positive attitude and be able to work well with others under stress. 
• Be punctual. 
• Understand the importance of good service.

Ol’ Vic Café Gallery waiters work, as scheduled, before each Stage West Theatre performance.  Standard work hours are Thursdays 5:30pm-9:30pm; Fridays/Saturdays 6:00pm-10:00pm; Sundays 1:00pm-5:00pm.   Additional hours are also possible for special events.
Pay:  Restaurant tips.

Kitchen Assistant  (Part-time) 

Join the café staff in serving beautiful meals to theatre patrons before each show. Responsibilities will include assistance with prep, service, and clean-up.  This is a great opportunity to hone your culinary skills in a personable, fun kitchen environment.  
A good candidate will:

• Have prior experience working in a restaurant kitchen and/or be a quick learner.
• Enjoy working with food.
• Have a strong work ethic.
• Be willing to embrace all aspects of working in a kitchen, from prep work to food presentation to clean-up.
• Be able to manage time well.
• Exhibit a positive attitude and be able to work well with others under stress.
• Understand the importance of food and kitchen safety.

The Ol’ Vic kitchen assistant will work meal service shifts prior to each Stage West Theatre performance.  Standard work hours, subject to change, are Thursdays 5:00pm-7:30pm; Fridays/Saturdays 5:30pm-8:00pm; and Sundays 12:30pm-3:00pm, with opportunities to increase hours.
Pay:  Starts $10.00/hr.
