Acting with the Stars 2018

Feb 14

The Gunslinger.  The Horserider.  The Professor.  The Humanitarian.  The Doctor.  The Activist.

These six winners are back to defend their season wins at the Grand Finale event that will determine Acting with the Stars' ultimate champion! Experience a gala event like no other as this live reality show contest unfolds before your eyes!

Will it be Jeff Halstead, Fort Worth's former Chief of Police who packs the heat needed to steal the trophy away, or Bo Soderbergh, the Executive Director of Tarrant Area Food Bank who serves up the right drama? Stacie McDavid, CEO of McDavid Companies could easily ride off into the sunset with the grand prize but not without a fight from the Distinguished Professor Don Mills or the Queen of the Latin Scene Eva Bonilla. No doubt all will walk away patched up thanks to Dr. Janice Knebl, but her price for those stitches may be the championship title itself.

Stage West's signature fundraiser, Acting with the Stars, has been an annual favorite since 2012. Whether celebrating live theatre, Valentine's Day or both, this glamorous event is a fun-filled and unique way to spend an evening in support of the arts. The night begins with a hosted wine hour complete with silent auction and quick-return photos to commemorate the evening. Afterwards, each guest will enjoy a delicious three-course meal while Stage West's artists entertain.

The title event begins after dinner as each guest watches six short scenes put together by our six AWTS Champions, their scene partners (the region's finest actors) and their directors (the best of the best in local theatre!).
