Clare Floyd DeVries

Clare is an architect and set designer whose set design work has been seen at Stage West in Into the Breeches!, The Lifespan of a Fact, Lungs, HIR, Wait Until Dark, Sexy Laundry and The Explorers Club. She has designed many shows elsewhere in DFW - upcoming shows include Ebenezer Scrooge at Pocket Sandwich Theatre in Carrolton. Set designs outside of DFW include musicals in San Francisco, Prague, Oklahoma City, and an Off-Broadway showcase.  Her sets have won Column, Critics’ Forum, and Leon Rabin Awards.  In her spare time she wrote the set design book Alice Through the Proscenium.
