H. Bart McGeehon

Bart is delighted to be back collaborating with Stage West after designing and redesigning the upcoming Romeo & Juliet at Bass Hall.  Bart has recently designed the  productions of Spring Awakening,  Angels in America: Part 1 & Part 2,  Priscilla: Queen of the Desert, The Full Monty, The Toxic Avenger,  Soho Cinders, and the critically acclaimed Hedwig and the Angry Inch, as well as his award winning projection design for Songs for a New World at Uptown Players. His design work has garnered several Critics Circle Awards, including Babel for Cry Havoc Theatre Company, Br’er Cotton for Kitchen Dog Theatre Company; A Kid Like Jake for Second Thought Theatre; A Midsummer’s Night Dream, Romeo and Juliet and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) at Shakespeare Dallas; and multiple productions at Theatre Britain and Dallas Children’s Theater. He also serves as the resident designer for Dark Circles Contemporary Dance Company. When he is not designing Bart is the Production Manager at the AT&T Performing Arts Center in Dallas’ Arts District.
