Lauren Kravitz

Work outside Stage West includes:
  member of Seán Curran Company, Take Dance, and Indah Walsh Dance Company performing in venues including BAM Harvey Theater (NY), Lincoln Center (NY), Prince Theater (PA), Danspace (NYC), St. Ann's Warehouse (NY), and Symphony Space (NYC), among others.  Guest artist in various projects including Opera Lafayette’s production of Handel’s Radamisto at the Kennedy Center.
Education:  Booker T. Washington HSPV, BFA in Dance from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
Other: Guest teacher at NYU Tisch School of the Arts (NYC), Sam Houston State University (TX), Charter Arts High School (PA), and The Wooden Floor (CA), among others. Co-founder of the local organization, Agora Artists, helping  to facilitate community-oriented dance programming in Dallas, TX, including choreographic workshops and the dance festival, Mini Movement Fest. One half of the performance duo bait who has shown work throughout NYC; continues to create collaborative work in Dallas with local movement and visual artists. Currently works at Arts Mission Oak Cliff, guest teaches throughout North Texas, serves on the Advisory Committee for Texas Dance Improvisation Festival, and is in the process of becoming a Registered Yoga Teacher.
