Laurie Land

Laurie previously designed costumes for our production of Into the Breeches!, Are You Now or Have You Ever Been…and HIR.  She currently serves as an Associate Professor of Practice at the University of Texas at Arlington, where she teaches costume and makeup design.  She has designed costumes for various theaters in Dallas, including Pegasus Theatre, The Dallas Children's Theater, Shakespeare Dallas, and WaterTower Theatre.  Her work outside of Dallas includes costume design for All the Great Books, Abridged and Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing (School Tour) at the Hangar Theatre and co-lighting design for Voices of the South’s Cicada.  She received her M.F.A. in Costume Design, from the University of Memphis.
