Stage West is proud to present its 6th annual M.A.D.E. open house, a community indoor festival event featuring Music, Arts&Crafts, Drinks, & Eats with local origins. Come celebrate our creative community!

When:

Sunday, July 7, 2019 from 12-7pm

Exclusive Access for Stage West Season Subscribers from 11-12

Where:

Stage West Theatre 821-823 W. Vickery Blvd 

Beverages:
CRUDE Craft Coffee Bar will feature Cold Brew and Cookies from 11am-2:30pm and Leaves Tea and Books will feature Sparkling Tea from 3pm-7pm in the Rehearsal Hall.
 
Local Brews in the SceneShops- Hop Fusion 11am-1:30pm; Panther Island Brewery 11am-1pm; Funky Picnic 1:30-4pm; Martin House 2pm-4:30pm; Collective Brewing 2:30pm-4:30pm; Locust Ciders from 5pm-7pm
 
Foods:
Stage West’s Lobby Café will feature samples from Panther City BBQ, Pouring Glory, and Three Danes Bakery at intervals throughout the day as well as samples from the Lobby Café from 11am-7pm.
 
The Near Southside Table in the Studio will feature samples from Gus’s Fried Chicken from 11am-1pm; Pouring Glory from 1:30pm-3pm; Poke-Poke from 3:30pm-5pm; and ShellShack from 5:30pm-7pm.
 
The Sweets Table in the Studio will feature samples from Alchemy Pops from 12pm-2:30pm and Urban Sugar from 3pm-7pm
 
Main Stage Entertainment:
Acting With The Stars: A Sample of Stage West’s 41st season featuring Joel Burns and Shannon McGrann at 12:30; Eva Bonilla and Dana Schultes at 2:30pm; Therese Moncrief and Olivia Cinquepalmi at 5:30pm
 
Stage West Education Department presentations at 1pm and 4pm
Camps, Classes & Creativity at Stage West Education. At 1:00, we will have samplings from our recent camps as well as 1 adult demonstrating the Chekhov Technique. At 4:00, we will have 1 kid with his SuperHero, I will do a brief demo about the paper plate masks w Rob and then Rob and I will get volunteers to do some improv exercises

Victor Andrada, acoustic guitar, 2pm-5pm
Jordan Jones, cello, 5:30pm-7pm
 
Other Things To Do:
Rock Painting, Face Painting, Create-a-Flag – all day, sceneshop

Admission:

Pay What You Can! (But we kindly suggest $10 and require $5 minimum for credit transactions.) Admission includes plentiful samples of Near South neighborhood eats, local brews, area musicians, and a chance to explore Stage West’s 18,000 sq ft warehouse theatre space.

The event is a fundraiser for Stage West Theatre, a non-profit in its 40th season of producing live theatre and more for the North Texas community.

This event was made possible in part by an economic development grant to Stage West Theatre from the Texas Commission on the Arts.
