7pm Improv!
Enjoy a springy, imaginative romp with our Stage West Improv Troupe. Theatre artist and educator Siouxsie Easter has been working with this group for the last 6 weeks, building their chops and rapport. Be ready to drop jaws and slap thighs as she MC's one heck of a ride! 45 minutes.
8pm Performance Lab
These scenes and monologues have been taken through the "lab" by director and acting coach, Douglas Davidson, and a select group of experienced actors. Over a period of 6 weeks they dug deep and explored wide, following a process for the most authentic possible performance. Come experience the final result live. 85 minutes.
Bar will be open with drinks and snacks from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.
MONDAY, MAY 15th Spring Musical Theatre Showcase
7pm Heroes & Villains
Our Musical Theatre students, ages 7-17, sing and dance their way through this fun showcase, inspired by musical theatre's most valiant heroes and most despicable villains. Directed and coached by Musical Director Sarah Gay and Choreographer Hannah Arguelles, they’ve been preparing for this one night of performance since February. You don’t want to miss these young stars shining bright! 35 minutes.
Note that this will appear as part of the Festival of the Kid, which performs at 6pm & 8pm the same night. "Heroes and Villains" at 7pm is FREE, but you'll need to purchase a $5 ticket to see the others.
The cafe will be open from 5 - 8pm that night with our special Festival of the Kid menu.
