Summer Conservatory

 3-Week Intensive for Ages 13-18 | July 10-28, 2023 

Innovative program offering teenagers a chance to study all aspects of theatre under the mentorship of professional artists. 

Students attending the 2023 Stage West's Summer Conservatory will experience: 

• Engage in the process that Stage West's creative teams use to develop unique, artistically superb theatrical experiences, featuring original dialogue, movement-based devised theatre, puppetry, and ensemble work, coupled with full costumes, sets and lights.
• Have session with professional photographer Evan Michael Woods of Amphibian Stage Productions; two edited digital headshots included with tuition.
• Witness the behind the scenes process of the design, production, and rehearsal elements necessary to produce a show at a professional theatre.
• Collaborate in groups to write and create short films that will be shown to peers.
• Assist designers with the creation of the production's technical elements, including music, costumes, set, puppets and props.
• Receive instruction from some of the top industry teaching artists in the Dallas-Fort Worth theatre scene.

THE CURSE OF WINDHOLLOW CREEK

When the Lockewood twins take on the Curse of Windhollow Creek, they must work together to solve the case before their best friend becomes the latest victim. As they unravel the mystery surrounding the curse, the two must put aside their differences and embrace their unique strengths. With the help of their friends and a supernatural ally, they must stop the true villain, save their friend's family, and protect the town. All while proving that teamwork can conquer even the darkest mysteries.

• Full refunds (less processing fee) available up to 48 hours before the first class. 
• Pro-rated refunds (less processing fee) are also available up to a certain date for classes that run 4 or more weeks.
• Any client who misrepresents info about the student being registered waives their right to a refund.
